The paper presents the results of field investigation of nine row precision vacuum planter for vegetables in sowing of onion seed. By analysis of the results of investigation differences have been found in the preciseness of distribution of the seed sown in rows and seeding depth in function of working speed (4.28 km/h, 4.80 km/h and 7.58 km/h)
