Shoots rooting is very difficult, especially at woody species. Better rhizogenesis can be achieved by using tissue culture. In this paper there are shown the results of in vitro rooting of different fruit rootstocks: apple (M27, M26, and MM106), quince MA and four genotypes of Prunus fruticosa, Pall. (SV1, SV2, SV11, SV12). It was shown that the presence of auxin in medium was necessary. Different concentration of IBA (0.5, 1.0, 2.0 mg/l) was studied, also. Rooting of apple rootstocks, quince MA, SV2 genotype was the best with 1.0 mg/l IBA and of SV1, SV11 genotypes with 0.5 mg/l IBA.
