To increase the multiplication index, shoots of dwarfing vegetative rootstock Gizela 5 were cultivated in a medium with TDZ. Three nutritive media were tested, MS+BAP; MS+BAP+TDZ; and MS+TDZ. Multiplication success depended on medium. The best multiplication index were on medium (MS+TDZ) with thidiazuron only (0.0001 microM).
