Viroses of sunflower are rarerly occurred on either cultivated or wild sunflower in the world. Virus diseases of sunflower are more frequently observed on countries with tropical and subtropical weather. The most frequent viruses that have been reported on naturally infected sunflower are: Sunflower Mosaic Potyvirus, Sunflower Ringspot Ilarvirus, Sunflower Blotch and Leaf Crinkle Luteovirus, Tomato Spotted Wilt Tospovirus and Cucumber Mosaic Cucumovirus. Damage caused by sunflower viruses has not been serious to have economic importance. The viroses of sunflower are not considered in Serbia.
