The 2-year-long studies on air temperature effect on the flowering dynamics of apple (Malus spp.) under the environmental and commercial conditions of Sarajevo are put forth in the paper: the studies proceeded with 5 high quality apple cultivars being used: Golden Delicious - clone b, Morens Jonagored, Glaucter-69, Breaburn and Red Fuji. The 2-year-old study resulted in the differences in cultivars in terms of flowering beginning and duration and temperature sums over flowering. In addition, considerable differences in terms of flowering start and its duration per years were evidenced which can be attributed to the air temperature effect on the cultivars being studies.
