Experience from application of Krone green line in PKB Corporation [Belgrade, Serbia]

This paper presents analysis of Krone green line application within the project Optimization of Machines for Forage Preparation in PKB Corporation, Serbia. Optimization of machines for forage preparation has resulted in decreasing the number of machines from 96 to 48 machines. With this project we implemented nine Krone machines of the latest generation which have replaced 57 self propelled and hitched machines used until now. In this paper are also shown the results of exploitation of latest generation of Krone machines, as well as results of optimization of engaged labor work, energy and flexibility of machine system for matching agro-technical schedule for forage.
