[About] plant viruses. Part 8

Mites belonging to the families Eriphydae and Tenuipalpidae have been showed to transmit at least 10 plant viruses. Virus transmission by mites seems to be quite specific, as each of these mites is the only known vector for the virus or the viruses. Regardless of being small vector group, mites successfully transmits several economically significant plant viruses.
