To establish the variability of the fruit-biological characteritics of autochthonous cherry plum genotypes from several different populations in Serbia, multivariate analyses methods (cluster and discriminate analyses) were used. Based on these two analyses, a determination of the genetic diversity and a classification of similar genotypes into three groups (clusters) was done. This classification will make it easier to perform their further evaluation and selection, as the first step in developing commercially viable genotypes. The genotype clusters divergence has the strongest influence on the fruit weight.
