Problems during garlic storage

Garlic is very important vegetable crop with high nutritive values. In Serbia, yield of garlic is very low, and lots of problems are present in garlic production. Commonly produced is autumn form of non-flowering garlic. Harvest can be automatic, semiautomatic and by hand. In Serbia, garlic is usually harvested by hand. It is recommended to store garlic in environmental conditions which are not in favor of early bulb drying and early germination. This way, stored bulb can be sold later and have higher price on market.
