The aim of this study was to investigate major biological and pomological characteristics in twenty vineyard peach types, collected at the experimental field Radmilovac at the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, Serbia. Examined types showed great variability with regard to investigated characteristics. Based on fruit weight and fruit attractiveness, taste and harmonic relation of sugar and acid content, the most promising types for stone consumption are: I/1, I/5, II/17, II/19 and XIX/15. Types I/8, I/12, II/8, II/14, XIX/28 and XIX/30, which have a high soluble solid content, satisfactory yield and good quality of compote and juice, can be recommended for different aspects of processing.
