Reoviral infection in poultry and programs of immuno-prophylaxis in the epidemiologic region of Pomoravlje and Sumadija [Serbia]

The results of our experiment show that the proposed vaccination program is effective for breeder flocks. It is an adequate and efficacious way of prevention of viral arthritis and malabsorption syndrome. The main obstacles for total solution of this problem is the fact that the flock is protected just from homologues strains of virus. The essential step in control of reovirus infection is good production practise.
