Vulcanization characteristics of rubber compounds during storage has an important effect on the processing of rubber products. STR 5L natural rubber products. STR 5L natural rubber compounds were mixed with 40 phr of N-330 carbon black and each with 1 phr of ZDC, TMTM, MBT, MBTS and CBS as rubber accelerators and other rubber ingredients. The compounds were stored at 50 deg C and storage behaviour were determined using a Mooney Viscometer and an Oscillating Disc Rheometer. The results showed that the Mooney scorch time and cure time of rubber compounds decreased with storage time but depended on the accelerator type used as following: CBS, ZDC, MBT, TMTM, MBTS and ZDC, TMTM, MBT and CBS for rate of scorch time reduction. It was observed that scorch time reduction rate that the compounds could not be processed by compression moulding found to be 56, 52, 61 and 84 percent for ZDC, TMTM, MBT and CBS respectively. For the NR compound using MBTS could be stored safety at 50 deg C for 24 days.
