[Vegetation factor of the ecological stabilization of the industrial environment of the Steppe Trans-Dnieper region]

English. The article provides for the facts that in primitive society the attitude to nature was related to the notion about the human sole (the animism). The animistic attitude to nature, taboo, popular believes had positive consequences for its preserving. The cult of nature as the highest sense of existence of the man himself/herself, the strongest spirit of environment, the main judge and truth were laid down into the bases of the primitive society. That is where careful, rational and careful attitude to natural surrounding stems from. The special features of the Ukrainian historical reality are shown, in particular the laws of the Zaporizhzhya Army, their prohibition of forest fellings, preserving reserve territories. The parks as follows are mentioned: Prince Potyomkin s Parks in Kyiv (Taras Shevchenko Park at present), those of Khatayevych s in Katerynoslav (now Dniepropetrovsk), botanical gardens in Kharkiv, Tavriya, Kherson hubernias (regions). Unique plant species of the botanical gardens in the Ukrainian cities of Kryvy Rih, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Dniepropetrovsk are described. Contribution of famous scientists, botanists, ecologists, who created unique natural-landscape and garden and park complexes in picturesque corners of Ukraine is assessed.

Ukrainian. У взаєминах людини і природи зростає роль рослинного чинника у збереженні природного оточення. У первісному суспільстві ставлення до природи пов язували з поняттям про людську душу (анимізм). Анімістичне ставлення до природи, табу, повір я тощо мали позитивні наслідки для її збереження. В основі первісного суспільства лежав культ Природи як найвищий сенс існування й самої людини, найсильнішій дух довкілля, найголовніший суддя та істина. Звідсі й бережливе, раціональне дбайливе ставлення до природного оточення. Показано спеціфіку української історичної дійсності – закони Війська Запорізського, заборона рубати ліс, збереження заповідних територій. Йдеться про парки князя Потьомкіна (нині це парк ім. Т.Г. Шевченка), Хатаєвича, м. Катеринослава (нині м. Дніпропетровськ), ботанічні сади в Харківській, Таврійський, Херсонській губерніях. Описуються унікальні рослинні різновиди ботанічних садів у Кривому Розі, Донецьку, Запоріжжі, Дніпропетровську. Показано внесок відомих учених, ботаників, екологів, які створювали неповторні природно-ландшафтні та садово-паркові комплекси у мальовничих куточках України.
