Materials of the Parliamentary Hearings, titled 20 years of the Chornobyl accident: conclusions and prospects, are outlined with the aim of raising the state and public control over both the situation in the Chornobyl zone and sociomedical support of chornobyltsi( those who liquidated the consequenses and suffered as a result of the accident) are outlined. Fragments of reports, in which on the basis of real data on solving Chornobyl problems the main attention is drawn to proposals on improving the state policy for recovering polluted territories, enhancing socioeconomic regulation of the problems of chornobyltsi, increasing the financial support of the programmes of the development of human settlements and liquidation of the consequences of the Chornobyl accident.

Наведено фрагменти виступів, які на основі реальних даних щодо вирішення чорнобильських проблем, основну увагу приділили пропозиціям з вдосконаленням державної політики щодо відродження забруднених територій, посилення соціально-економічного врегулювання проблем чорнобильців, збільшення фінансового забезпечення програм розвитку населених пунктів та ліквідації наслідків Чорнобильської катастрофи.
