Influence of some plant growth regulators on spring pea (Pisum sativum L.) productivity,chemical composition and nutritive value

During the period of 20022003 in Trakia University, Stara Zagora influence of some plant growth regulators on productivity, chemical composition and nutritive value of spring pea variety Bogatir was investigated. Experiment was conducted with 3 complex preparations as follows: N-40 (naphthaleneacetic acid NAA) 20 and 30 cmз/da; HP-55 (chlorophenoxyacetic acid) 10 and 20 cmз/da and G-31(chlorophenoxyacetic acid + naphthoxyacetic acid NOA) 30 cmз/da in 30 l/da solution. Applied growth regulators promote positive effect on productive parameters of spring pea and had no effect on the chemical composition and nutritive value of obtained grain and straw. Maximal effect was obtained after treatment with N-40 applied in 20 cmз/da. Yield of: grain was increased 17.4%; crude protein 14.3% and 17.8% feed units and for straw 19.6%; 10.8% and 19.3% respectively.
