Study on the level of heavy metal contamination in feed materials and compound feed for pigs and poultry in Bulgaria

A total of 152 samples of feed ingredients and compound feed for pigs and poultry was analysed for concenterations of lead cadmium - nickel - chromium - arsenic and mercury. The date showed lead and cadmium levels in compound feeds for pigs and poultry in Bulgaria were higher compared to current European official regulations.
