Organic forages not completely satisfy requirement of pregnaned dry cows in mineral elements. So, the majority of forages contain not enough sodium, often there is no phosphorus and magnesium. There are problems in providing of animals with microelements (copper, zinc, cobalt, iodine, molybdenum) therefore depending on the different content of mineral elements in forages there is a necessity in mineral top dressing. It was established that feeding with complex mineral additive with molybdenum in the dose of 0,9 mg/kg of DM provided increase of average daily gain by 7,5%, calves body weight at birth by 7,4%, daily gain in a month by 7,9%, as well as there was improvement of nutrient digestibility by 1,5-7,3%, mineral intake by 242,2% and stimulated milk yield
