[The milk market: tendencies and prospects]

The basic preconditions of formation and effective functioning of the Belarus milk market in aspect of economic and social value are considered. The directions of the market development on the basic structural elements are investigated: milk production in the agricultural enterprises, processing of raw material and efficiency of realization of production by the processing enterprises, real and potential capacity of the consumer market, conditions of foreign trade of milk products. The factors which have generated some negative tendencies, describing the modern conditions of the milk market, are revealed. Perspective directions and priorities of agrarian policy are determined, basic of which are an innovative development of financially technical base of agriculture and processing industry, and also the creation of effective marketing sphere. Realization of the given actions will allow realizing the main strategic purpose of formation of the milk market, as making element of the food market, - improvement of a life and health quality of the population
