[Economic efficiency of corn culvivation estimates and perspectives]

For the first time the normative levels of production of definite types of agricultural products and the predicted norms of purchase prices as compared to the real production costs, domestic and mean-world prices of realization are presented. The dynamics and advisability of corn production for green mass and grain are shown. The volumes of production of corn green mass and grain up to 2010 are given. Cross calculations made by both economists and specialists on animal husbandry have shown that it is necessary to have 528 thousand tons of corn grain for all the kind of cattle and poultry for 2007. Need will be increased in 2008 up to 678 thousand tons, and joint necessity in corn grain will be increased in intensive development of meat animal husbandry up to 1015-1050 thousand tons up to 2010. The optimal sown areas of corn in republic are shown because of the necessity of observing the scientifically grounded crop rotations and providing the objectives of food safety of the country
