[The changes in structure of foreign trade of the Republic of Belarus]

The research of structural changes in foreign trade of the Republic of Belarus in the period of 1995-2005 is carried out. Growing tendency of raw material export of processing industry to CIS countries and Russia are pointed out. The largest intensity of structural changes in export was revealed in the trade with developed countries, and the least intensity – in the trade with Russia and CIS countries. At the same time the largest intensity of structural changes in import was revealed in the trade with CIS countries, and the least intensity – with Russia. The foreign trade of Belarus has rather in branch, than between different branches and the revealed tendency becomes stronger. Actualization of intra-branch trade between Belarus and Russia as the countries with the similar level of development and whose governments promote economic integration, intra-branch cooperation and division of labour is marked. The development of inter-branch trade of Belarus with the economic developed countries as trade partners with essentially different level of economic development is also noted. In the trade with CIS countries the state is not ambiguous due to relatively not big volumes of trade
