[The ultrastructural analysis of postnatal development of enteral nervous system of piglets]
2007

During research at newborn pigs it is revealed that separate components of nerve knots are in stage of growth and differentiation. Maturing of neurones after birth is defined by development of cytoplasm, formation of synaptic communications. The analysis of data after 30 days after pigs birth has shown, that there is a further morphological reorganization of transneuronal communications of duodenum. At 2-month age the ultrastructure of synapses noticeably becomes complicated: the area of specialization of membranes increases, the electronic density of cytoplasm of neurones raises. As a result of research it is established, that in structure of metasympathetic nervous system of pig duodenum at weaning there is a number of the dynamic structural and metabolic reorganizations having attributes of compensatory-adaptive and destructive changes have occurred. The microscopic analysis has shown, that neurons react differently to postweaning stress. Three categories of neurons are allocated: neurons with the changed structure, cells with the phenomena of reactive changes and neurons with signs of the destructive processes. Reactive reorganizations are characterized by hyperimpregnation of cellular bodies and shoots, formation of outgrowth of various size and forms. Destructive processes include: the expressed deformation of perikaryons, homogeneous impregnation of cytoplasm into intensively dark colour. Borders of cellular body are appreciable with rough, in cytoplasm vacuoles are formed. Cell-shades are appeared. Dendrites of neurons react especially to postweaning stress. The size of dendritic territories decreases because of reduction of arborization of the terminal branches
