The evaluation of phytocoenotic interference of Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) and Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) at the stage of growth and development of seedling in a model experiment was realized. The realized biometrical, ecological, physiological and biochemical studies showed that the following indices proved to be the most informative ones for the phytocoenotic interaction of seedling: physiologically active absorption surface of seedling roots, the specific surface of roots falling unit of their mass and above-ground organs, the content of chlorophylls and carotinoids. The obtained data proved that interspecific interactions developed more favourably in the conditions of the combined growing. Research results showed that the interspecific interactions of pine and spruce trees developed favorably both at the stage of growth and developments of seedlings and at the stage mature age. The special studies of growth and developed of Scotch pine and Norway spruce in the natural phytocoenoses showed that in the conditions of pure seedlings the growth and development of studied trees were considerably lower in contrast to mixed tree stands. Research results showed that at the early stages of growth and development of woody plants at the stage of seedlings it could be possible to model the processes of phytocoenotic interference of trees at the mature age
