At tribal plants assessment of 487 highly productive cows was carried out. Absence of correlations between the exterior index of bull - producing cows and their milk productiveness (r=-0,09 - 0,01) is determined. One hundred cows selected to be potential mothers of bulls of new generation that combine both milk productiveness and the best exterior index
