Evaluation of the influence of gestating sows and three - breed suckling piglets feeding with selenium - containing Sel - Pleks additive on blood indices, bacterial growth - inhibitory activity and blood serum lysozymic activity of piglets as well as on piglets growth and development intensity and viability in the conditions of animal husbandry farm in the Republic of Belarus was realized. The analysed feed additive Sel - Peks contained 1000 mg/kg of selenium more than 98% of which was presented by selenomethionine and selenocysteine. Research results showed that application of the studied feed additive rendered the growth promotion action (live weight of suckling piglets of the experimental group at weaning time (35 - day age) was on 14,6% higher than in the control group). The average gain of live weight of the experimental piglets was on 18,8% higher than in the control group. Experimental piglets showed higher growth intensity and higher average daily weight gain (on 19,0%) that the control ones. Research of blood serum bacterial and lysozymic activities showed the increasing those indices in the experimental groups at the age of 10 days – on 14,9% and 1,0% accordingly and at the age of 35 days – on 2,2% and 1,83% accordingly. Investigation results proved that feeding with Sel - Pleks additive did not exercise negative influence on the morphological and immunological blood indices
