Alternative formulation of rice plant production technique in rice field paddy farming

This study were implemented on villagers land at East Tapakis, Padang Pariaman Regency from July to October 2003 and arranged in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with five replications. The treatments were as follows: (1) Farmers technology packages on location (200 urea-based fertilizer (urea) kg/ha, 100 kg SP36/ha, and 75 kg KCl/ha) with common planting system, (2) Shafter planting system (Legowo 4:1) with manure measurement 200 kg urea/ha, 100 kg SP36/ha, and 75 kg KCl/ha, (3) Shafter technology (Legowo 4:1) with manure measurement 200 kg urea/ha, 20 kg SP 36/ha - P starter and 75 kg KCl/ha, (4) Shafter technology + N-BWD (Legowo 4:1:P-starter-20 kg SP36/ha, 75 kg KCl/ha and N-BWD); (5) Shafter technology + N-BWD + organic materials (OM) 2 t animal manure/ha. Results showed that alternative formulation of rice plant production technique which more efficient and profitable in rice field paddy farming is Shafer planting system technology package of Legowo Planting System (LPS) with P-starter manure, each treatment with result index 113.4 and 112.4 percent, respectively.
