[Identification climate, soil and irrigation on agriculture potential land in Donggala (Central Sulawesi, Indonesia)]

The purpose of this research is to explore agro-climate and soil condition as well as supporting infrastructure such as irrigation facilities in four research sites which in line with one of the government programs, i.e to promote the western coast of Donggala as main stapple crops area. Aspects that have been identified including climate condition, topography, soil condition, prediction for erosion, hydrology and irrigation system, and condition of irrigation facilities. The research found that the climate in the study areas are classified as Oldeman-al, mostly the topography is flat (0-8 percent), the type of soil is dominated by Alluvial, the highest actual erotion occur on the dry land (15,65 ton/ha/year) and the lowest one occur on the wetland (0,24 ton/ha/year), mostly irrigation facilities are damaged.
