Productive and reproductive performance of Deoni cattle

Productive and reproductive traits of Deoni cows were studied. The mean LL, DP and CI were 185.79+4.35, 282.77+12.85 and 465.90+12.52 days and LMY, MYPDLL and MYPDCI were 544.06+15.33, 2.91+0.05 and 1.23+0.05 kg, respectively. The effect of parity was significant on DP, CI and MYPDCI only. Therepeatability estimates for the traits studied and phenotypic correlations among the traits ranged from 0.03 to 0.51 and -0.05 to 0.92 respectively.
