At present there is urgent necessity to increase per farm family income by way of diversification of agriculture in the farm of various kind of livestock farming on intensive commercial lines. There is great scope to increase the margin of profit under various kinds of livestock farming activities by increasing alround productivity, on the one hand, and economizing on the cost of feeding, on the other, for which the counseling of animal nutritionist may prove very effective.
