In this study 352 chickpea genotyps were evaluated in 16 experiments under rainfed condition at Kermanshah, Gorgan, Gachsaran, Lorestan, Shirvan and Oromieyeh. One hundered thirty nine lines and local check were evaluated in perliminary yield trial by use of observation( in kermanshah and gorgan ) and one hundered teventhy lines and local check evaluated in A- Test by use of simple lattice design with 2 replications(in kermanshah) and by complet block design with 3 replications (in gorgan, andlsquogachsaran, lorestan, shirvan and oromihe). Seventy five lines and local check evaluated in B test yield trials in complet block design (in kermanshah, gachsaran, lorestan, shirvan and oromihe. According to yield and desirable traits , 91 lines from perliminary yield trial, 20 lines from A- Test and 40 lines from B -Test were better than check and were selected and promoted for further trials next year .
