Chickpea growers of Kurdistan province found advantages of new technologies and crop rotation. In order to select high yielding varieties of Kabuli type chickpea at farmerandrsquos conditions and introduce them to chickpea growers, an on-farm trial was conducted with five varieties in a latin square design at two locations during 2001-02 cropping season. Analysis of variance and DMR test of means revealed significant differences among varieties. According to results, entry FLIP 86-108C was performed well and superior than other entries.
