In order to achieve high yield and adaptation of advanced wheat lines/ varieties, this experiment was carried out in four research stations . Thirty six lines and varieties of bread wheat with two checks (Tajan and Shiroodi varieties) in two randomized completely block design (RCBD) in four replications were planted and compared. Entries of this experiment were selected out of 223 lines from preliminary regional bread wheat yield trial of the last year. Plot size was 6x1.2 m=(7.2m2) including 6 rows with 6-meter length and row spacing was 20 cm. During the cropping cycle besides, field management practices the following notes were taken: Days to heading (DHE), Plant Height (PLH), kernel weight (KW) lodging%, reaction to diseases under mist irrigation system, shuttering and days to maturity (DMA). After harvesting, grains of each plot were weighted separately and collected data were analyzed .Based on rank method,SDR, Yield Index Ratio (YIR%), field notes and reaction to diseases, seventheen(17) superior lines were selected to be studied in promising regional yield trials in next year. Key words: Advanced lines, north area, wheat, yield trial and Rank method
