A survey of citrus greening disease in Baluchestan

This study caried out to survey of citrus greening disease in Baluchestan province, during 2003 and 2004. In the all region of Baluchestan, Citrus trees accurately surveyed with the view of possible existence of the greening disease symptoms. Scions of citrus trees grafted on sweet orang stock by Tbudding method. Results of grafting had not reveald typical symptoms of greening disease. In two harvesting season (2003 and 2004), symptoms of greening disease did not observed on ripe fruits. Two application methods of tetracyclin hydrocholorid(spray and injection) had no efficacy on temporary removing of disease symptoms. On the basis of above results it seems that existence of greening disease in Baluchestan is improbable.
