The experiment contains two parts, the first one was evaluation and selection in F2 populations in Karaj, Moghan and Boshehr . Each population were in 10 rows 10m , long and the space between rows 60cm. In each population the important phenotipic characters such as starting and finishing dates of flowering , branching type, distance of first capsule from the ground, number of capsules per plant, the growth priod oand plant height were recorded, based on characters, finally single plants were selected in each location . The second part of the experiment , contains single plants and lines selected from F2 , F3 , F4 and F5 populations . The genotypes were evaluated by a kind of curve comparing method and repeated in every 5 lines as check variety . Off type plants in each line were removed and also the important agronomic traits were recorded. Superior lines were selected based on seed yield after comparing with the curve check.
