Purification and identification of alpha sub(s1)- and beta-caseins from ass milk

English. In the present study alpha sub(s1)- and beta-caseins were purified from ass milk by gel filtration chromatography followed by anion exchange chromatography on HPLC. The caseins were characterized by sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrilamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and, after blotting on PVDF membrane, were identified by N-terminal sequence. The results indicated the presence of beta-caseins with a MW of 35 kDa and 34 kDa and alpha sub(S1)-caseins with a MW of 33 and 30 kDa

Italian. [In questo studio sono state purificate le alfa inf(s1)- e beta-caseina nel latte di asina mediante cromatografia su gel filtrazione seguita da cromatografia a scambio anionico in HPLC. Le caseine sono state caratterizzate mediante elettroforesi in gel di sodio dodecil solfato-poliacrilamide (SDS-PAGE) e, dopo trasferimento su membrana PVDF, sono state identificate mediante sequenza aminoacidica N-terminale. I risultati hanno indicato la presenza di beta-caseine con un PM di 35 kDa e 34 kDa e di alfa inf(s1)-caseine con un PM di 33 e 30 kDa.]
