The present study was undertaken to identify and select desirable durum wheat genotypes under rainfed condition. Therefore, produce and breeding new varieties is one of the objective in main at breeding program in dry regions. In this investigation durum wheat genotypes evaluated in different series of preliminary durum wheat yield trail (PDWYT) 139 geontype, durum wheat advance yield trail (DWARYT1,2) with 20, 21 geontype in Shirvan and Chardavol Agri. Research Station and were compared with the local checks, seimareh (Durum wheat). Selection was mainly based on the field performance and appearance. The best genotypes were selected for the next season to be evaluated more precisely.
