Citrus rust mite (Phyllocoptruta oleivora) play as one of the two major acari pests on Citrus spp in terms of economic damage to fresh fruit and control cost in caspian costal region of Iran. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of different doses of Envidor SC 240 in comparison of registered acaricides against citrus rust mite in western part of Mazandaran province during period of 2003-2004. The BCR design was used to assign 4 replication of seven treatments (envidor SC 240 at doses, 0.1, 0.18 and 0.27 mililiter in 1000 cc water, ) including an untreated check plots. Treatments initiated when mean of one or more active CRM recorded on one squre centimeter of infested fruit shell of orange Tamson varity. Twenty treated fruits collected randomly from different treatments and number of alive CRM counted under sterio microscope, one day before and 3, 7, 14 and 25 days after acaricides application. Mortality % evaluated through Hinderson-Tilton method for three types of mite population i.e. immature stages, matuure stages and immature and mature stages together. Place of orchard trial were choosen as Tonekabon and Chalous regions which were located in western part of Mazandaran provice. Analysis of variance done on mean of mortality% obtained from different treatments data and compared them according DMRT. Results of mortality% on immature CRM population indicated that, envidor, 0.27% has maximum control at the level of 1% as compared to the other treatments. The mean differences between Min. (89.345%) and Max (98.248%) effectiveness of 0.27% envidor recorded about 9% and was placed it in a group A in all treatments. Mortality % of envidor 0.27% observed one precent less than Ortus treatment on mature stages of CRM, but both were placed in group of A. Effects of all treatment found maximun in 3rd day of the sampling, but mortality rate increased with extent of interval period. Mean of mite control in Chalous region (92.24%) was observed higher than Tonekabon (83.1%) regions. In toto, results of present finding indicated that, envidor 0.27% due to possessing lower doses among the registered acaricides in Iran and because of its higher efficency with sustainable effect can recommend against CRM in Mazandaran province.
