This note is about the results of a trial aimed at testing the response of propagation and subsequent development and growth of different types of pseudo-bulbs: with two leaves (PC2F), four leaves (PC4F) and without leaves (PSF). The results have pointed out that for propagation of Oncidium varicosum it is preferable to use pseudo-bulbs with at least 4 leaves, as they show a better vigour and a higher growth rate

Si riportano i risultati di una prova che aveva l'obiettivo di verificare la risposta propagativa e, quindi, di sviluppo e di accrescimento di differenti tipi di pseudobulbi: con due foglie (PC2F), con quattro foglie (PC4F) e senza foglie (PSF). I risultati ottenuti hanno evidenziato che per la propagazione di Oncidium varicosum è preferibile utilizzare pseudobulbi con almeno 4 foglie, in quanto presentano una migliore vigoria e una maggiore velocità di accrescimento
