As a part of the species census in Japan by Zootaxonomical Union of Japan (http://www.bunrui.info), nematode species hitherto recorded from wild amphibians and reptiles in Japan are listed by Dr. Hideo Hasegawa and me in 2004. In the present note, a brief conservation medical comment on the parasitic nematodes recorded from wild frogs and toads among them.
