Presumption of the fish fat content by Fish Fatmeter was examined. This time, Japanese horse mackerel (Trachurus japonicus) and chub mackerel (Scomber japonicus) ware used for the sample. As the result, Fish Fatmeter could be used for the fat content presumption of each fish stock, if a conversion formula was used. Fish Fatmeter method was more inaccurate than specific gravity measurement method.
