In order to establish the system of effective in vitro propagation of Narcissus pseudonarcissus, hypocotyl was cultured on MS medium supplemented with various concentration of 2,4-D, NAA, kinetin and BA. Explant part of hypocotyl and plant growth regulators significantly affected on callus induction, bulblet formation and plant organogenesis. The optimal part of explant was the bottom portion (greater than 2.0 cm length) from basal part of hypocotyl. MS mdium containing 2.0 ㎎ㆍL-¹ 2,4-D alone was the best effective for callus induction. Effect of combined medium of NAA and BA was high 1.5-2.0 times in plant regeneration than that of 2,4-D and kinetin.
