The article deals with the factors that impact development of bees and insects: air temperature; agricultural chemicals, feed accessibility, diseases, environmental factors and others. The author describes problems in world bee-keeping - distribution of Apis mellifera scutellata, small hive beetle, colony collapse disorder, Nosema apis, Nosema cerana, varroa mite (Varroa destructor), and an Asian hornet (Vespa velutinave) that thread honey bee colonies.
