Agricultural Status and View of North Korea

The food shortage of North Korea may be the issue of Korean peninsula coming to us and it is the home task for us to solve. This study was carried out to investigate agricultural status and view of North Korea and present a plan and idea for agricultural development in North Korea. North Korea has taken several measures for improvement of food production, such as enlargement of double cropping, enlargement of cropping area for potato and wheat and barley recently. These tries of North Korea to increase food production has diminished food shortage from about 150 tons in the middle of 1990's to 94 tons in 2004.
