Lack of the scientific descriptions on segetal flora and weed communities on farmland areas of Landscape Park Opole Silesia (Poland), stimulated to undertake this study. Possessing complete knowledge about the vegetation is especially important for the areas, where the protextion of the cultural landscape is of high priority. This was the cause of the systematic botanical research carried out to assess the present state of the park's segetal flora and vegetation. Within 3 following seasons, 152 weed species were found, what is 9 percent of the total regional flora and 11 plant communities were also confirmed
