The flow and potassium balance in farms, its validation and prediction for Poland's provinces

The aim of the research was to estimate the flow and balance of potassium in different farming types of commercial farms in Wielkopolska (Poland), to work out the regression model of soil surface potassium balance, its validation, as well as its application for prediction of potassium balance in provinces. Analysis of potassium balance and flow were carried out during 2002-04 in a group of thirty commercial farms representing three types of farming: milk production, swine fattening and crop growing. From each type ten farms were selected randomly, allowing only one farm per country to assure even distribution over the region
