The yields of dry matter of two clones of Salix viminalis, as well as the nitrogen content and coefficient of nitrogen utilization in dependence on nitrogen rate in waste activated sludge and urea are presented in the paper. The yields of Salix viminalis biomass were higher on objects fertilized with waste activated sludges with 200 kg N/ha of nitrogen. The content of nitrogen in the willow branches was not significantly differentiated upon the applied rate of nitrogen. The highest value of the coefficient of nitrogen utilization was stated in the object with 200 kg N/ha of nitrogen applied in waste activated sludge
