Economic and technological effectiveness of crop production

The results concerning effectiveness of crop production from selected 63 farms in the Podlaskie Province (Poland) have been presented in the paper. The costs and their relations to the generated value of output make up one of the key factors of technological efficiency of a farm. The indicators of average gross productivity was used to assess mineral fertilization efficiency, whereas the effectiveness of technologies was estimated by the indicator including the whole fertilization costs per hectare of agricultural lands and the direct surplus from crop production per hectare of agricultural lands, per 1 man-hour and per 1 PLN of direct costs
