In the paper presented are results of the test checking up possibilities of elaboration of digital maps showing distribution of pathogens on a plantation on the basis of air photographs. The test was carried out on an experimental potato plantation infested by fungi Alternaria porri. As an effect of the test obtained were maps, on which possible is to declare the difference threshold between healthy and infested areas. These maps will be used to control the field sprayers work during so called selective spraying. Favourable results of the test create the grounds for taking up further research works in this field
