Proecological methods of plant protection in the field crops

In the paper discussed is the current situation in the branch of plant protection. The authors are taking into consideration the forced by food consumers and by law regulation trend to limit both: quantity and toxicity degree of the applicated chemical means. This trend has an indirect influence on introducing of appropriate changes in designed and built machines later used in the field crops protection, as well as on the ways of that using. In the paper a specific attention is paid to the field sprayers, especially to the big trailed and self-propelled machines. Discussed are there the details of construction of these machines and the currant designing trends concerning the main assemblies and more important elements of these machines. Problems of the electronic equipment and board computers for the field sprayers are also presented, as well as the problem of field crops monitoring. At the end of the paper some comments are given with regard to the development tendencies and the difficulties connected with their implementation
