In the microplots experiment in 2000-03 the effect of four levels Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn contamination of light and medium soil on yields of the feed crops: rye green mass, on seradella green mass and barley (grain and straw) were studied. Research objects were different in three following soil properties: pH - 4, 5, 6, three levels of organic carbon content: 6, 9, 12 g/kg of the soil, and two levels of granulometric composition: light and moderate soil and four levels of Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb contamination. The plant yields decreased proportionally to growth of soil contamination with heavy metals. There were observed the highest drop of seradella while the lowest of barley yields. The largest scale of yield drop were determined on light soil
