The aim of this research was to determine the influence of seed size on plants emergence dynamics, grain yield and yields components of spring wheat Opatka cultivar. In the micro-plots experiment seven grades of seed size and their mixtures were taken into consideration. The experimental seed samples were separated from commercial certified seed lot. The best uniform emergence were obtained under high temperature and good soil moisture at sowing time and emergence period. Worse and more differentiated plant emergence appeared under low temperature and smaller water reserve in soil. The biggest yield was harvested when large, qualified, and large + medium seeds were planted
